- What's the catch?
- There isn't one. The commission is funded by the event organiser out of their own revenue, not out of TicketWave's cut. The organiser decides the rate per event (most set 5–15%). You get the upside; we take care of tracking and payouts.
- Do I have to be a creator or have a big following?
- No. The programme is open to anyone. The best-earning affiliates are often just people who go out regularly and share links in their group chats. If five friends book a €60 boat party through your link at 10%, that's €30 to you.
- When do I get paid?
- Monthly, on the 1st, to your bank account via Stripe. There's a €50 minimum — anything below rolls over to the next month. Once you cross €50, payout is automatic.
- What if my friend refunds their ticket?
- The commission gets clawed back (we can't pay commission on a cancelled booking). This is normal for affiliate programmes. Repeat refund patterns are investigated; honest refunds are just reversed.
- What if the event's not in the programme?
- Some events opt into the affiliate programme, some don't. If an event isn't in, you can still share the link, but you don't earn on it. Your affiliate dashboard shows you which events pay.
- How long does my link track for?
- 30 days. If someone clicks your link today and books anything (that's in the programme) within 30 days, you get the commission on that booking.
- Can I promote on TikTok, Instagram, WhatsApp?
- Yes — any channel. We give you a canonical link format that carries the tracking everywhere. We have a small social-share kit in the affiliate dashboard with prewritten copy for the main platforms.
- Am I an employee or contractor?
- Neither. You're an independent affiliate. We don't employ you, don't tell you when or how to promote, and you're responsible for your own tax on earnings. Stripe Express generates the right tax form for your jurisdiction automatically.
